The Craft Olympics Sweater

This is the most knitted sweater in Norway right now. Big, soft and chunky. As many others have written, it was very boring to knit. Quite ok on a long car ride or in front of the tv with a good movie, but absolutely not a big technical challenge.

I have used two different yarns, one thread of each (Alpaca from Drops designand Faerytale from Du Store Alpakka). The mix is very soft, and the sweater is one you want to wrap around you while drinking a warm cup of tea.

Jeg forsøkte meg med fotomodellposering. Tror ikke det blir noen ny yrkesvei :-)

I tried to do some posing like the models do. Probably just as well that I am not planning a new career :-)

This actually means that I have finished my first Craft Olympics category. Yahoo, a thimble for me!

  2. Well done Siri! It is a great Thimble Challenge- please take the badge from my sidebar.

I love my alpaca jumper (not the same design as yours)- so lightweight compared to wool and so warm.

You make a lovely model. :-)
